As much as I hate to say it, I really don't think the Cardinals stand a chance. They have not faced a defense as tough as the Steelers, who were both #1 overall and #1 against the run. The Cardinals running game sucks already, and their defense sucks worse.
Let's face it: The Cardinals managed to get hot for a few games. Now, they will struggle again.
My prediction is:
Steelers 20
Cardinals 3
I really don't see how this will be a high scoring game.Comment

Uhh, actually, the Steelers weren't exactly favorites for much of anything until late in the season. The only reason the Cardinals are painted as such underdogs is because the media has been so heavy-handed in discussing the matchup. Before the Super Bowl was set, and certainly before the playoffs, the Steelers were hardly called heavy-weights. I can't speak for all of Steeler Nation, and there are obnoxious fans of every team, though I wouldn't call most Steelers fans obnoxious. It's pride in and appreciation of our football team. The Steelers mean more to Pittsburgh than perhaps (arguably, so just give me that at lest) any other sports franchise. Don't mistake passion for arrogance. The Steelers fans have stuck by their team through thick and thin. I personally know someone who's been a fan of the Steelers since the 40's.
Uh, no. Demanding an intelligent debate is not called being a snob. There aren't words to describe the tone of what you're saying. Cut it out; if was humorous at first, if only because you're an unmitigated tool, but now it's wearing thin.
