I hate to be one of those people who just posts random news stories in Chit-Chat, but this was very frustrating, and I'd like to know what you all think about it.
For those of you who may not know, a good Samaritan is someone who renders aid to someone who is unable to help themselves. The circumstances can vary, but in this case, Persons A and B were in a car accident. Person B pulled person A from the wreckage because he feared the car would catch fire. Person A plans to sue person B because she is now a paraplegic, which she believes is directly due to person B's intervention.

My question to you is this: What do you think the consequences might be if people feel that they are unable to render aid without the possibility of being sued? Also, would you want to be helped by a good Samaritan if you were in an accident? Would you render aid to someone if you saw that they needed help?
