I dont have much music, despite playing ffr and stepmania. I am not really into alot of music.

I currently have 3,095 songs, but my computer recently had some sort of bug and deleted a ton of my CDs . If they were still there, I'd probably have around 3,500.

And I've heard them all. I listen whenever I'm in my room, (probably 3-4 hours a day not counting sleeping) doing work/chores and riding the bus. I ride buses around A LOT.
I'd say 80ish % is legal, the rest is mostly weird stuff that is rarely found anywhere but the darkest corners of soulseek.
I just calculated and my dad has about 11,640 (give or take a couple hundred) albums counting CD's, records and tapes. Multiply that by ~12 songs per album and we get about 139,680 songs. He's pretty cool XD

Well, if I were to post how many songs I've downloaded... it would be over ten thousand, easily. But anybody can download ten thousand MP3s and say they have ten thousand songs. The more interesting question is how much of that music you actually bought.

851 on My iTunes, 147 of which are Classical, and 461 which are DDR, no duplicates.

My Cds - i counted the top row x6 and got 258 i think, not counting the 10 that a friend "borrowed" and "lost"

Probably only like 600 on this laptop, and 2000 or so on my desktop comp.

I suppose the witty answer to this is either "Nobody" or "Record labels". Take your pick. Although I'm not so sure that the record labels actually buy anything, rather than selling it and giving the band part of the profit.

bullet thats a sick collection, those records depending on the condition are worth a mint i bet. Hang onto the cd's long enough and they'll probably equal some serious coinage too.

This will take a while. I'll post after my search results are done. 6916 files not done yet...actually I guess that's good enough, it's all death metal too 8)

I probably have close to 20,000 songs since it's up to 18k right now.

I only came back in June this year and my dad had accidentally wiped my computer while "fixing it" so, because of that, I only have ~3,500 songs in 241 folders in My Music folder.

Add on my 3 DVDrs, 10-15 CDrs, and about 150 normal CDs, and I probably have lots.
