    i'm not willing to argue with you because i know you are a much smarter person than me but i don't think anarchy is always "people can take care of themselves"

    i think it is lack of government or disordered government, good or bad.

    i don't think it's always "good" like you are saying.

                You're choosing to define anarchy with your preconceptions of the word. In today's mainstream society, anarchy is often used as a bad word to describe what would society be like without laws. For the most part, it is true. A world without laws will be a miserable one, but the word used to describe this society is the wrong word. Most people have the definition of anarchy mixed up and as such, they use the word incorrectly.

                            Parliament has been prorogued, or in other words suspended without being dissolved. All this means immediately, is there will be nothing happening in parliament. There'll be no anarchy, no spike in crime, and we still do have a government. Nothing will change, that's the point. Nothing new until this period is over, sometime nearer the end on January. Discussion over:P

                                Except the discussion isn't actually over, because pretty much as soon as parliament comes back, they're going to call for a vote of no confidence and appeal to the governor general to put a coalition party in control of Canada.

                                        Stephane Dion actually seems like a prime minister to me. I dunno. Everything about him, from being late to making a crappy video just screams "PM" at me.

                                        I kinda want the coalition to succeed just for that reason.

                                        Also, re: definitions of anarchy: lol. I just used anarchy as an attention-grabbing word.. I don't care if it's accurate or not.
