TRD, I'm only counting votes that are at least four days old, so I can make sure that they won't be edited or deleted. My first count was already ****ed up by the original post deletion spree, and then people decided to delete their older votes and post new ones...argh.

I'm changing this. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I won't be available for the next week. I won't even have Internet access. Voting ends on the 30th, and I'll be back by then, so I'll just do what Dev is doing and count them all once it's all said and done.

I think the Hall of Fame idea is good, but it should be changed to reflect other Hall of Fame induction styles. They always have a list of people from which a certain number can be selected. For example:

Hall of Fame (pick your first and second pick from the following nominees)
Synthlight
Jasonkey
Nestlekwik
Tasselfoot
Shashakiro
Jimerax
Rebirth0
Arch0wl
Jewpinthethird

I don't think for a community this size there should be more than two people inducted but there should probably be more than one.

People who have made their mark on FFR would be added by TRD or Tass or whoever is running the voting in conjunction with staff.

EDIT: I don't think the FFya thread was a necessary thing to vote on. Perhaps there should be a mock award ceremony within FFya. Putting that in the official ceremony just adds to the stereotype of elitism.
