Chaz, I grew up in northern PA and I have never liked the Phillies. My parents grew up in New York, one in Brooklyn, one in Queens. They're Mets/Yankees fans. I'm a Brewer junkie after all that. The game was awesome last night, I was there, but man did they suck today.
I strongly disagree. They struggled at certain points of the season, and had tough going against Dallas in the playoffs. They were most certainly dominant, but I wouldn't call them near untouchable. That kind of started after they won the Stanley Cup. It's a wonder what PR and hype does to popular opinion. The Wings win the Cup, and we rewrite history.
The Penguins are much like Detroit in that they're a puck-possession team. The Pens did not go after the puck at all in the Finals, so what do you expect to happen?

Ehh, it's not as bad as it could have been. I feel bad for my dad though. He's watched the Mets fail miserably in September for 2 years now. Last year was probably worse of a loss than this year, But they should have won the division. No excuse for how bad they fall apart in Sept.
And if they were in the AL they'd be a .500 team. Whining about divisions won't get you anywhere. The Mets collapsed. Again. Get over it and teach Johan Santana to play every position. Then you're golden.
