RagingFlame, just imagine you, yourself, as an American. You barely change at all from who you are now, you just happen to live in America (born, raised, etc.). The cultural gap between USA and Canada isn't THAT big, after all, compared to say, that between China and USA or that between India and Greece. Would you want someone making a thread ranting about how fat all of "you people" are? "You people" (as well as other indicators of the same phrase) is a universal sign of ignorance. If you ever say that or mean that in any way, chances are you're making a general statement that may be, on average, true, but not accurate on a case-to-case basis. That's why I said you were making yourself look a fool.
