Graphing Calculators are fuuuun!

All I do in math class is fool around with odd graphs.

If you have a ti-83 plus (that's the only calculator I have, so that's the only one I can help you with) press "Window" and set it to this:

Xmin=-10.5
Xmax=10.5
Xscl=100 (11 and up will work)
Ymin=-10.5
Ymax=10.5
Yscl=100 (11 and up will work)
Xres=1 (I've never changed that )

Then graph these points (a number following X means X^#. For cubed, go to math->3rd option (the little 3))

Graph these points:
y=.01x3
y=.1x2
y=.05x3
y=.5x2
y=-.01x3
y=-.1x2
y=-.05x3
y=-.5x2
y=5
y=-5

That's the oddest graph I've ever made.

try this with the y intercepts

each y int =
1x+3.5
-1x+3.5
1x+5
-1x+5
1x+7.5
-1x+7.5
1x+10
-1x+10
1x+14.5
-1x+14.5

i just got my t1-83... just because its what my high school had used, and i was farmiliar with it... didnt wanna bother to learn how to use a new calculator when the t-83 has everything i need on it anyway.

I have a TI-83+ Silver Edition. I'm a kickass programmer for it too. Maybe I'll post something..sometime.. but I don't really care much for it.

I use an 86 too. If yoo take Physics, Calculus, or Trig, you will be so happy that you have an 86 and not an 83.

I have a special program that my brother made. With this program, trig was such a breeze that I could sleep through it. (The program took him like 6 months to create, and is huge, but after it has been compiled, it saves you unbelievable amounts of time.

Yes, but having a program do all the work for you isn't exactly learning much, is it?

One time I assigned the values of 1-26 to A-Z and typed in random words to see what they equaled. It amused my friends and myself to no end for no particular reason.
