being young has nothing to do with being physically fit. if you have enough time and dedicaton for something, you will get good at it. being athletic is a GOOD thing, so go and get athletic. its actually one of the best things someone your age can do is to stay in shape.

I agree 100%. If you sit down and actually put forth the effort to draw something nice, it can take a lot of time off of your hands, and afterwards, you have something awesome to show off.

Photoshop something beastly and but it in your siggy. Once you learn how, if you have time, you'll always be shopping things. Then you can just mess around and make funny little pictures for Google and 4chan. Oh and by the way, http://www.urban75.org/useless/bored.html Avoid the water drinking contest, kinda' messy. One last thing, reading helps. Find a good author and stick with them. Pendragon series is good as well as the Twilight (though girly) and anything Tom Clancy/Stephen King.

When the game isn't fun for you anymore, take a break. It's not a job, nobody here is professional and getting paid to play and force themselves to constantly improve... it's a game.

Might I suggest reading "Life of Pi?"
It's an amazing book with a bunch of twist's and turns, and it has great philosophical statements.

                  Some of my favorites.

"To choose doubt as a philosophy of life is akin to choosing immobility as a means of transportation."

"A tie is a noose, and inverted though it is, it will hang a man nonetheless if he’s not careful."

"A person can get used to anything, even to killing."

It really is a great book. Go pick it up. You might even have read it for school, in which case, my post is utterly useless.

So, if you have read LoP, then go metal detecting. Metal Detectors are in the 70 dollar region. It's fun.

For something a bit less orthodox you can always try learning to solve the Rubik's Cube. You can get a really good one for around $15-$20 (look for a DIY cube), and after that it's entirely possible to spend months just learning to solve it faster and practicing. There's a pretty big community for that too, and tournaments and stuff.

Life of Pi is okay...but I do recommend Twilight, for the sheer hilariousness (at least, I find the content cheesy/funny). Reading in general is good.

Learn a programming language...a good one to start with is Python. Programming is fun, if you can get into it. Or if you don't want to do hard core program, learn some HTML/CSS and design a website.

Make a treasure hunt in your neighborhood, and put candy at the end.

                        Gamble.

                        Play FFR/SM.

I bought a 61-key PSR-273 Yamaha keyboard. I know a bit of the keyboard already. I don't plan on taking lessons but I'll get into it.
