Sooo...who watched 'em? It didn't really show anything we wern't already expecting (and that was that LOR would sweep 'em), but I didn't expect them to sweep so effin' much...11 Nominations, 11 Oscars. Not bad for rookie director Peter Jackson, eh?

Oh, and Billy Crystal was funny. Cause Billy Crystal is a funny guy.

You know, I would agree with you on one aspect of that, the fact everyone gawks about who was wearing what blah blah blah.. But these awards were really intended for appreciation of the entertainment. I don't see what's so wrong with watching it.

I agree with you, Bean. I just wanted to see how much LOR swept, and I liked the jokes...I only came back and watched sporadically. God, Robin Williams was funny-

Still....the only two good films out this year were Brother Bear and teachers pet.
