Tell your friend to change his hair back to normal, and dodge the kid for a while. If it was not serious than he will forget about it. If your friend does not want to change his hair back, the bully will easily spot him no matter where he is, and he is an idiot.

Also, link us to his myspace. We can spam him.

In all seriousness though, your best bet, no matter how good of a fighter you or any of your friends may be, is just to stay the heck away. Everyone will be better off for it, and he'll end up being the moron for picking on other people.

you guys are right, maybe I should just wait and see how far this kid goes before I act hastily. I just dont want my friend getting hurt, hes one of my best friends at that.

If the bully beats up my friend and leaves marks I can definately get help from police(although I dont like how police handle things sometimes)

I just have no proof of his threats besides my friends word. Also everyone seems to think of this kid as a punk who picks fights with people so I fully believe it

Well I don't know how it works in Oregon. I live in Texas, so I can describe what went down when I got pwnt by a couple of misinformed drug dealers.

Basically the police showed up at my house and I described to the officer what happened, he took notes, had me make a written statement, and pretty much gave me a choice. It was either just let the whole thing go (because I had come out to meet them, meaning that I was prepared for a fight), or have all parties involved be processed through state law for all actions committed.

I ended up choosing the former.

I don't know everything about the bully you're talking about, but IMHO, ledwix has sound advice which I would recommend in the general situation. Sounds applicable to and the best option for this scenario and your friend.

I think I have made up my mind that I wont fight him unless I ABSOLUTELY have to, also I never throw first punches so there wouldnt be any legal problems from that.

I have yet to find out how serious this kid is but I doubt he would kill anybody, some kids really do just exagerate. I still see this kid beating my friend up in the future. I dont want my friend living in fear, thats bull for anyone to go through. thanks for all your help guys <3

Thinking about it, you were overreacting. There was actually no point in going through this if he just did that. You have no need to worry its just another kid thinking he is the big man on campus. Don't try to put him in his place because you think you are tough, it just makes you look like him.

I never really overreacted being that I havent done anything yet. thats the whole point of this thread is for me to get some input.

Everyone knows highschool fights DO happen and I want to make sure my friend doesnt get beat up because honestly, this guy would take him no sweat.

Wow, I am glad I asked that. He did not mean that threat. It's good that you cared enough for your friend to ask random people on the internet for advice, but the way he gave the threat shows that he was not serious. Now if he mentioned a weapon that he would kill him with then that would be a totally different story.

Also tell your friend to dye his hair back or he will die.
