Well, thats not what my mom says. She says obsession with FFR is real and its bad. I disagree with her. A lot. Who's with me on this?

That is the worst argument ever. Some people who play FFR do do drugs/smoke/etc... When you are obsessed with a game, how could that be good. Unless you are making a living off of it.Comment

I'd think any obsession has the potential to be a bad thing. Generally speaking, the word "obsession" carries a sort of negative connotation.
She might be talking about long-term damage to fingers and arms, but then, I've never spoken with her, so I can't say for sure.
I treat FFR like any other game, in terms of not wanting to spend an excessive amount of time playing it.
But my question is, where does she draw the line? Where, in her mind, does someone go from not being obsessed with FFR to being obsessed?fgsfdsComment

Eric isn't addicted, he plays when when he's bored, he quit for 3-4 months and came back because he has less lag. Eric hasen't gained a pound in like 5 years rofl.

The thing is, I'm not actually obsessed with FFR. I play a bit each day (granted, today was WAY more than usual...) and many days I don't get on at all. I still have a life outside FFR and I'm in no way in danger of failing classes or gaining excess weight. I can't see the problem with what Im doing is what I'm trying to get at.
