I agree...this tag **** is getting pretty annoying.

Anyways, I've followed the race fairly well over the last few months. I'm a Republican, so all I really cared about was McCain, but after it was decidedly sure he had won his nomination, how could I not turn my eyes on the Democratic race?

I will be honest and say that the turn around over the last 6 months for Obama has been an incredible thing to behold. He has gained an unstoppable amount of momentum, and I honestly fear that this momentum will carry him into the White House.

I have come to terms though. If all goes as it should, Obama will rightfully receive his nomination. He clearly deserves it, and as a Republican, should things not go my way, I will not be disappointed to have him in office if he wins the general election.

All things said, I will still vote for McCain, even though the force behind Obama seems to be otherwordly.

Is it me, or did Hillary just claim Victory in her speech tonight? Sure sounded like it.

Nah, it's not just you. I watched that speech as well tonight. I'm sure you're talking about the democratic nomination, but she did win South Dakota, if I remember correctly.

Anyways, I'm almost positive she made this speech before the Montana results, however.

All I have to say about this is: She sure was confident because she was thanking Obama and everything, and the supporters were yelling and screaming for their Hillary. Sure does get confusing.

EDIT: I also found it really odd how they were screaming about Hillary becoming President, and then 30min-1 hour later Obama receives enough delegates for the nomination from Montana.
