I hope your family does well during this downtime that you'll be going through, I can understand completely how it feels. I live with just my brother and mother, and there's been times she hasn't had a job for months, and we've had to seriously ration everything. Just conserve supplies, money, and gas; the troubles will pass eventually. =/

PM me your Paypal, I will take some of my allowance I have been saving up (500-600 dollars?) and send it to you. I feel bad for you, and I'm sure mom will throw in some money as well. A friend of mine recently had to go through that, and everyday at school he would cry for his mom and dad. I assume the job was the only problem, but I didn't bother to ask. That isn't important though, so me and mom will donate to you.

Apply for welfare from the state, they will give you food stamps and you will be able to use that... or, if your father hasn't already used up the government funded unemployment that he's owed he can easily have that and make at least 400 dollars a week off of it. Also, you can help out by going out and finding a job that involves yard work or something, or you could try to get a job.

I have a job, but I need more hours, I could probably easily get some more hours.

PS: I dont have paypal, and my mom really has no idea about FFR, so it would be kinda weird receiving money from someone I don't know.

As for extra hours, if they're during the day then you should help around the neighborhood like I mentioned earlier. Just tell her that you got the money from a friend (since that's completely true)

its times like this i look at myself and say im the luckiest boy alive, i have caring family and a house. kids these days dont know how lucky they are unltil they are in a situation like this. im so sorry. im sure you and your family will bouce back.

Oh no, I would not ask for donations.
Also, I forgot I have around 1800$ in the bank right now, that might be enough to pay for food an gas for 4 weeks.
Its not really food we are gonna have trouble on, its bills.

Wow that sucks. I remember 10 years ago when my parent's company was shut down, so they were both unemployed. We were on the verge of returning to Peru so he can get his job back as an architect, but luckily, he found one on the week we were deciding our fate.

PS: The reason why he left his job from Peru is because they don't pay nearly as well as they do here, especially with the economic problems they're having there. And no, he isn't an architect now.
