Okay, I need to know.
Which is...grammatically correct: 'an AAA' or 'a AAA'?
I can't say 'an AAA' because I feel like I'm retarded if I do. Maybe that's because when I see it, I think 'triple-A' instead of 'A-A-A'.Comment

Well then... you could say:
Hey buddy, I just AAA'd (name of song)
or
Hey buddy, I just got an AAA on (name of song)
or
Hey buddy, I just got a triple 'A' on (name of song)
or
Don't bother saying 'an' or 'a', and just use the word 'Just', such as - I just AAA'd.... blah blah blah.

I use 'an' when the actual pronunciation has a vowel sound, because the purpose of 'an' is to help distinguish between 'a' and 'random word that starts with a vowel.' 'AAA' to me has always been 'triple-A,' so there's no need for it here. (Plus there's the insurance company...)
