    How's this for a sport?

This is the slickest really. Likely you guys have seen something similar, but this dude is seriously the bomb. In fact, could be a bomb.

Some people go fishing on their day off. Yves Rossy likes to jump out of a small plane with a pair of jet-powered wings on his back and loop the loop above the Swiss Alps. The self-built contraption took the former fighter pilot five years to build and perfect - and yesterday he gave it its maiden flight.Stepping out of an aircraft at 7,500ft, Rossy unfolded the 10ft rigid wings strapped

I think its awesome really. He is planning on flying IN the Grand Canyon. Sounds a lot more impressive than flying over it

somehow, Jason, i don't think this would work well if you tried it... although i'm sure Kitty Hawk is waiting patiently anyway.

Keep in mind, the person in question here is a former fighter pilot.

Reminds me more of The Rocketeer than Buzz Lightyear, though.

Anyway, this "sport" practically drips awesome.

That looks so fun. Wish it would be a major sport, I would sooo participate in it.
