SM 3.9 or 3.95?

I am wondering what is better. SM 3.9 or 3.95?


SM 3.9 works really well on my comp and can play most songs, but 3.95 cant read the Stream/Voltage (I forgot which) right, so it will only show when it has a lot of that.

Im thinking 3.95 will be better, but im not sure if it can run this add-ons:

Rock
Cel
FFR

Announcers:
Microsoft sam

SM 3.95 comes with the online version to play online, obviously.

Also comes with the normal version so you can practice songs or even
edit and step songs.
So I choose Stepmania 3.95 overall....excluding ITG2, that game rocks my
mind.

You can't use 3.9 noteskins/themes etc. on 3.95. I don't know how to change them so they work... sorry.

3.95=Online. Online ftw.

3.9 has more themes

3.95 has online play

I just use 3.95 because I am able to play stepmania online, and my favorite theme is made for 3.95 anyway.

also you can convert 3.9 noteskins to 3.95 most of the time.

Download them both and use stepmania.ini to set the music file path to only 1 of them so you dont have to copy songs. 3.95 has online play so you use that for online. Use 3.9 for everything else because the simfile editor actually works in 3.9

Well, I need a theme for 3.95 for a C500 mod cuz C600? Blech.

And how do you convert 3.9 note skins into 3.95 skins anyways? Of course, some noteskins I have worked like the DDRSNSOLO worked, but I really want to use the Rock, Cel, and the FFR skin. Plus, can 3.9 announcers work on 3.95? Cuz Microsoft sam is funneh.

Adding speedmods don't require new themes. They require adding C500 on the metrics (how tos are stickied). Also add C500=C500 on the Languages English metrics

I like 3.9 more for stepping and stuff, which is what I basically do.

But I also like 3.95 because I have the official ITG2 AC theme on it (not the groove 2.4 one), and I can play rolls, and edit stepcharts with rolls as well. Only problem is I can't play ITG2 songs on it. It always crashed for some reason =/.
