Halo 3? Kidding.

If film makers plan to do something like this, it should be directly connected to the plot of the actual anime. Although, if every person in America went and saw the movie, how many of them would actually have watched the anime and know what is changed? To all the anime lovers though, if it's stretched from originality, it is a waste of time. (if anyone has a real statistic on this feel free to post)

The fact that the anime based films coming up first are of a similar caliber of the 4kids shows you denounced.

In other words, your claim that they're starting with "mature animes [sic] rather than producing horrible 4kids quality animes" is wrong in that it's already being done. No, they're not going to do a live action Pokemon or One Piece film. They're going to do anime that is widely successful in America, and that can also appeal to more than just children.

I wouldn't throw out the whole Pokemon live action thing, somebody out there is stupid enough to make it.
