It's a riddle of the class of riddles with a completely mundane and unoriginal answer.

It crossed the road to get to the other side of the road, which is pretty much why everything crosses the road. The point of the riddle was to communicate that not everything has to be obscure or complicated.

Then you try to say the pronoun 'I' isn't a word. And the article 'a'. The point of this thread is to have fun and solve riddles, not to have Mr. CT come ruin it. The only person to PM them if they want to solve them is you. The thread shouldn't be locked because it has not broken one rule. What else... oh, if you want to move it to "Game" threads be my guest, we'll set some rules and make it so first person to accurately solve a riddle goes next. So on and so forth.

The only reason I look at that riddle from my point of view is, the chicken could have been coaxed by a farmer to get to the other side :P

What are you even talking about? I wasn't asserting that there are no such thing as one-letter words. I was asserting that if you take 4 letters out of the word that is the answer to this riddle, you are left with something that isn't a word.

If the intention of the thread is to be a riddle answering game, then it has broken the game thread rules on what constitutes a valid game thread. That was my only point. The thread has become "Rzr copy/pastes bad riddles from the internet, and everybody but Devonin is allowed to answer them" which isn't a very good or useful thread.

Small has 5 letters, but if you take 4 away it leaves the letter s. Which doesn't sound like small, lol

How about they implement a spoiler tag. Why would anyone want to see the answer to a riddle if their soul purpose is to guess said riddle? I don't like reading the answer a few posts down.

Please stay out of CT until you learn what logic is and how it works? Neither of those statements were contradictory in the slightest.

I said "If you take 4 letters away from that word what you are left with is not a word." 'Q' is not a word. At best, it is a fictional proper noun for both a Star Trek and a James Bond character. What it -isn't- is a word. Since it isn't a word, your objection that "Next you're going to tell me these one-letter words aren't words" is ridiculous. 'I' and 'A' are words and have meanings, and I never said they didn't. I said that 'Q' is not a word.

As for your second one: You told me I had to PM you the answers, thus the purpose of The thread is "RZR copy/pastes bad riddles from the internet and everyone but Devonin is allowed to answer them" By telling me that I'm not allowed to post in the thread you have made the thread be about riddles that I am not allowed to answer.
