For the best of the best, go for the HD 650 Pro. Too bad they're halfopen.

For the best you can get for a decent price, go for the HD 280 Pro.

If you haven't talked to iPatch yet, then you really should. He knows more than anyone should ever need to know about headphones, and he really knows how to help you get a good pair for you. Take me as an example, I couldn't be happier with the pair that he helped me pick out.

The HE90 sells for about, what, $16,000? A bit pricier than an HP-1.
