I think I've gotta virus, any help?

So I was on my computer today and it totally crashed on me. So I just manually rebooted it by holding the button. But when it was booting back up I got a Blue Screen Of Death. Every time I tried to boot it up again I got the same problem, couldn't even get onto the desktop.

I'm on my dad's laptop but seriously, I'm pretty sure I have a virus on the computer. One thing that maybe had to do with it is that I went to www.internetisseriousbusiness.com (don't go here)
My mom read something that the sight gave you a virus.

So yeah wondering if anyone knew what I should do. When the Blue Screen Of Death came up it had a weird code and such, said what I could to do fix it, and then it said "UNMOUNTABLE_VOLUME_BOOT" or something of the like.

Please help, need some advice. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to just wipe the computer and lose all my files. Which, as anyone would understand, I really don't want to happen.

Try booting in safe mode and doing system restore.

Sorry, it definetly wasn't that website though lmao. All the site is is a video of Rick (can't remember last name). Pretty damn funny.

As for your problem...blue screen of death is never a good thing. Ever. Your best bet would probably be Tech Support.

Hmmm.
I tried going into Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking, Last Known Settings, etc. Nothing works. BSOD.
Well I'm really not sure then what to do. This sucks, hell it even had my mom's resume, which had like ****loads of info of her past and such on it.

If you didn't seem so troubled I would call this a Rick Roll ploy. In all seriousness though, try what Polk said.

EDIT: Pretty much ninja'd.
EDIT: Try formatting as a last resort if you have an XP disk, or perhaps professional help.

EDIT Again: Formatting is indeed a quick and horrible way to get by something like this. Personally I would try out another hard drive.

If the information is that desperately important there are hundreds of data recovery services out there. You have to pay out the nose for them, but that's the lesson you learn for not taking care of the computer.

Another Hard Drive probably won't work, nor will system restore...BSoD is normally the result of a critical system error (probably not your fault) or a corrpt registry. Corrupt registry could be the result of a nasty virus. But that website was clean.
I still recomend Tech Support.

Thats why my laptop is screwed right now. It starts up and goes straight to it Lol..FYI i didn't go to that website, and i also didn't read any other posts apart from yours. Hope it all works out mate.

Hard drive corruption... Download something called spinrite <will insert link to my site in a moment> and burn it to a cd... boot from that cd and tell it to run on your drive that windows is located on... It will attempt to fix everything.

If spinrite cannot fix it then your hard drive is junk and you can kiss it goodbye and reinstall everything on a new drive that you conveniently purchased minutes after reading my post.

I just got a laptop to play with(communication teacher's laptop) and I'm getting this issue... a DLL corrupted that is required for windows. One sector died... Sometimes you get lucky and S.M.A.R.T. will do it's job and replace the sector... but if a sector is dead then you lose speed on your drive and it starts slowing down. It's best to just get a new drive... You can still get all the data off of the drive if you stick the harddrive into another computer as a second drive or stick the drive into a usb case.

Just pm me or whatever if you want more information... I can't think of anything else to jab into this post to help you.

Edit:Whoops... Ignore me supplying the program... forgot I paid for it... cough... Buy it... or IM me for more "informations"

Edit 2: got caught up saying all that I forgot to make it blunt. It's not a virus... just mere coincidence that your harddrive crapped out.
