Hashing. Sorting by hashing. It's been 5 years since I thought of this but if memory serves it's a method of searching by using some aspect of the elements in the array other than plain value to search. Couldn't get it to work in C++.

Ahh...alright I see. Did the teacher get fired? Because if not I would report him to ensure it; no real teacher would facilitate failure in a student because of his own personal issues with somebody.....

I'm not petty enough to try to get him fired for trying to get me in trouble. We were actually really good friends before all of this went down since he had been my teacher before and we were in community theater together. And even after failing the project I still aced the class and it was the last quarter of high school so it had no bearing on my college acceptance. IIRC the project was 30% of my grade and I got a 50 on it so it was 15 points off my grade and since it was an AP course 10 percentage points are added to the grade. I eneded with a 94 that quarter.

Two wrongs don't make a right. He's a decent teacher, just hyper-patriotic, which was kind of common right after 9/11.

At my school, I'm annoyed by the bitterest teacher EVER. You'd expect her to be some 60 year old woman who is frustrated by problem students and menopause, but no, she's 24. The best memory I had of high school was of my freshman year, where somebody gave my friend a stack of the most horrible pornography I have ever seen printed on paper as a "secret santa" gift. My friend ripped out the worst pictures and used a glue stick to glue all of the pictures to her desk and computer during lunch. She's a strict christian too...

Rofl that reminds me of this crazy substitute homeroom teacher I had once. Right before spring break me actually made us go around the room and say why we were thankful for jesus and he made it very clear that we were celebrating Easter and it's not spring break. Well, I told him my family was going to celebrate Passover, since I'm, yknow, Jewish. He muttered something I didn't catch and moved to the next student. haha.

I recall a certain english teacher having to kiss a donkey because of some sports team winning something.

I spent most of my time in high school not doing homework (I thank Ultima Online and Realms of Despair). I don't know how I stayed up till 4 AM and then went to school but I did...

Overall I disliked most of my teachers, especially one English teacher that thought it nice to tell my mom that I was "Doing really well for a football player." Another English teacher tried to fail me my senior year, got that D+ and got outta there.

My Social Studies teacher asked us to make greeting cards for certain members of history at one point, in like 10th grade. What a waste of a teacher. Anyway, I made a Happy Birthday, Jesus! card and drew a bunch of ridiculous Christmas stuff on it. I got a nice stern talking to about that one, apparently he didn't appreciate my making fun of Jesus.

I drew a picture of my art teacher in middle school wearing a tutu and cooking a Pikachu in a large, boiling pot of water. I got detention. >_> That's all I've ever done wrong. I slacked in middle school too... hardly ever did my homework. Now I do it every day and it sucks... I think that's the reason why I'm so tired all the time.

Other than an ongoing war with the school techs, (we always found a way to get on to our websites in the library, oooh we're badass) I don't really have much of a story. Currently addicted to video games and attending about 50% of my classes, still in the high 80s though.

STORY 1
One day I was leaving school (i walk) and I saw this guy and girl kissing and the girl was like bent over kissing him and you could see most of her thong... it was pretty epic


STORY 2
One day this hot girl next to me leaned over to talk to someone and I got a look down the back of her pants... also epic lol


STORY 3
I pissed off my spanish teacher so much I would get kick out of her class every week... they took me out of spanish and put me in art lol and know I piss off my art teacher



I'm failing all my classes and will probably take 9th grade over but i dont care cuz highschool is the shii


(EDIT: im failing purposely. I'm suppose to be moving to tennesse and whats the point in getting good grades and passing if i wont see any of my friends again? (i live in FL) so dont talk shi.... also by failing purposely i dont do any work and i have fun, you all wish you could pull that off but ur parents would get mad and make u there bitch if u didnt pass with A's or B's)

holy **** if my friend had been in that class at the time that teacher would've been bitched out. He's an atheist, and if he had been asked to say why he was thankful for 'some sort of higher power or deity,' everybody would have to listen to his rant about how teachers just assume things and push religious beings upon us.

My best memory thus far is breaking the teacher's desk. My friend (same as above) was hiding under it, and my other friend was just sitting in the chair. The friend-under-desk hit some part of the desk and it began to creak. The friend-in-chair basically jumped out of his seat and the desk fell on a slant. Everything fell off, the drawers opened, and the friend-under-desk was calling us assholes because we wouldn't help him out. The teacher (out of the room at the time) was actually pretty calm and didn't do anything about it. She wanted letters of apology, but naturally, we didn't write them.

Also, I was standing on the other side of the room laughing my ass off.

He was so retarded that those of us in homeroom that weren't idiots were just kind of chuckling to ourselves. It was too early to rant. And either way, my south jersey high school was pretty dumb and pretty heavily religious and dominated by christianity. I used to say it was "indirectly run by the church" just because everyone in administration was a steadfast christian.
