Re: Hillary Clinton or Obama?
It's nice to know that in the wake of Bush/Clinton/Bush, all you need to do to become president is yell the word "CHANGE" long enough and loud enough.
The word means nothing without a context that Obama has -seriously- failed to provide. If you actually look in depth into their platforms, Obama and Clinton are virtually identical. They disagree on pretty much -NO- major issues, and their disagreements on minor issues are just that, minor.
The strongest benefit to an Obamarama democratic nomination is that he has the youth and vigor to tackle the very large problems he would inherit from the Bush Administration. But don't think that just because he's obsessed with saying 'CHANGE!!!' at every single opportunity that the changes he's looking to make are very far at all out of line with the changes that each and every democratic party nominee want to make.Comment

Re: Hillary Clinton or Obama?
as opposed to the other candidates who are either out of their ****ing minds or whore the same exact saying? Everyone's looking for change, well, you look at voting records and policy stance to figure that out, instead of acting like a lazy **** letting the candidates force feed it to you. The whole change thing works, because Americans are lazy. That's why Ron Paul's little death cry before things became serious helped him raise a sizeable amount of money. (and the internet)
Also, Clinton's platform IS very close to Obama's, but her tactics are underhanded (see nevada) and her associations with big business are unnerving. (see walmart)
Everyone is whoring change, even Romney, except maybe Huckabee, because there's no changin' the bible.Comment

Re: Hillary Clinton or Obama?
Obama says you should pick him because he's whoring change
Everyone is whoring change
Obama's Platform == Everyone else's platform
So, it makes no sense to pick Obama because of change.Comment

Re: Hillary Clinton or Obama?
Hilary Clinton wants to ban video game violence. She loses, because just about every game but like tetris and some random pong copy has violence. Look at mario, doesn't look like it, but he stomps the heck out of mushrooms, and leaves their bloody corpses behind. Obama should win, down with Hilary (no offense, I don't want her dead, but I dont want her to be president).RIP Steve Van Ness <3Comment

Re: Hillary Clinton or Obama?
I have seen some sickening things from politics this year. Nationalized healthcare is the worst idea ever. The money to pay for nationalized healthcare comes directly from the taxpayer's pocket. This stimulus package has a possibility of being declined because it doesn't include illegal immigrants, who by the way don't pay taxes.
I have yet to see promising things from this years candidates, and Obama hasn't even officially announced what he plans to do. He keeps talking change, but as far as we know, change means replacing the US dollar with the US skittle. But, change could also be a good thing for a country with it's fate in the air.
If Hillary is elected, I'm moving to Amsterdam.one hand, no mercy...

Re: Hillary Clinton or Obama?
I'm not picking him because of change, I'm picking him because of his voting record/policies and because he's black.
Plus, you're canadian, stay out of this thread and head back to your gravy & fries and hockey.Comment
