My roommate and I took my dog for a walk after the game. An SUV passed us and a (presumably) drunk girl leaned out and screamed, "I HATE THE NEW YORK GIANTS. **** YOUUUUUU!" and continued to shout "**** you!" at all the pedestrians on the Bear Trail as her car kept going.
Also, that was almost a really boring game. Yay Giants. =)Comment

I was pleasantly surprised by this outcome. I would have wagered credits on the Patriots, but I wasn't here. I thought they would win for sure, although I wanted the Giants to win. I saw the last quarter, it was pretty epic. My fiancee walked out on me because I was rubbing in his face that his team lost.
Yeah, the Giants win. I didn't like either team. But I'd rather it be Giants than Pats.

The Patriots are a great team, and cheating most certainly did not affect them this season.
It's a common thing to try to steal signals, though they went overboard with a camera, and this season they'd only begun taping before it was confiscated in the first quarter of the first game of the season.
So frankly, they deserve all they got this season, and they set those NFL records because that's just how good they are. And this isn't bias speaking, I'm a Steelers fan, and I can't even talk to fellow fans about it because they've decided that the Patriots are evil (they beat the Steelers out of two AFC championships) and like to blame it on **** that just isn't even true.
The reason the Patriots lost is because the Giants defense found a weakness and pounded Brady up the middle with particular forms of blitzes, preventing Brady from ever finding rhythm. It's true, the Patriots are good enough that they should've found a way to win anyways, but their slight weaknesses finally caught up with them and the magic couldn't find a way through.
Now, I'm gloating about this as much as anybody, because I went to Boston in December and I wanted to kill those pathetic bandwagon jumpers who won't be wearing Patriots gear when their team goes 1-15 in a decade.
...But claiming that they didn't deserve to win this superbowl on grounds of prior cheating in other seasons (and the taping isn't all that serious unless the Rams taping really did happen) is pathetic and childish. Give it a rest.
The Patriots are a great team, and they have proved it. The Giants mustered all they could and were just good enough, which is all that matters. It was a great Super Bowl to watch.
So stop vomiting diarrhea out of your mouths, it's getting tiring..

I'd like to see any team come back against that Giants defense with 30 seconds left in the game.
