Everyone else Sucks at Quake..

Quake is very fun. Strategy? Nahh. Teamwork? Blah. But if you're looking for a mindless, fast paced low-qual run n' gun whatever other cliche term you want to use to decribe it game, check it out...I think you can get it for like 10 bucks on Ebay.

Ok fine, CTF is debatable...I meant not along the lines of like, anything else that tried to inject strategy into their games. Theoretically UT2003 deathmatch could have strategy, but...I just mean there's games that acutally force you to use it, like Socom, CS, NS, etc. Quake doesn't.

DM is worthless.

TDM and CTF however, require lots and lots of strategy.

team deathmatch is my favorite for most FPS games...but in quake CTF was just as fun

ok, my wording sucked in my posts. I was referring to the LOOK of the graphics. I know that the engine controls all kinds of graphical things. I was talking about the sprites, and the engine doesn't give a flying fig what the sprites are, as long as they're the proper format for the engine.

You sir are correct.. TCTF (team capture the flag) is one of the funniest things to do on that game.. played it last night with 5 other friends for about 2 hours... all about strategy and team work.. oh yea.. i still stand as the greatest halo player ever..

I'd still rather play natural selection for my dose of teamwork though... DM style games just get on my nerves after playing for a while.

i wouldn't make that comment either if i wasn't confident.. and even if someone could beat me ( which im literally not lieing about) it wouldnt be by much..
I haven't met anyone since i've known how to play the game strategically thats been able to beat me consistantly more than once in a row.. i've probably played 30 different people at it too.. so its not just my friends.. and if you goto any website with halo videos of people playing, they all suck.. on a bad day it would take me like 6-8 shots with the handgun to kill someone.. maybe missing 3 shots.. these are videos people made, so im pretty sure they didnt thrown in there worst of clips.. and there emptying out clip after clip on people.. i've watched halo tournaments (ex. G4 2002 (i think) halo world championship and those guys didn't really pose any threats, i honestly feel i would strongly stand a chance against anyone that challenged me..

I would and i probably am this weekend.. problem is there really any halo tournaments held around here.. the first one i've heard about is at katsucon (an anime convention) in crystal city this weekend, problem being is $50 to get into the convention and im broke saving up for this wrestlemania trip...
believe me, if i could sign up for it i would..
