Stereotypical? Yes. That is what I was playing off of. But it comes from experience. That is a little extreme, but for the most part, it is true.

Actually, the cnversation when like this:

Woman: "Hi there. You like sports?"
Me: "Not really."
Woman: "Oh, well my son is the quaterback of the football team."
Me: "Is that so?"
Woman: "So what do you do then?" (as if there nothing more to life then sports)
Me: "Well, I'm in a band and I like art."
Woman: "Ohhh...really, well, I'm going to go voer here now."

The whole time she said it was this phony "everything is so cheery" voice and a huge grin. But when I mentioned art and music you could see her lips start to quiver as though someone just stepped on her foot. She most likely assumed I was a homosexual and that she might turn into a homosexual if she continued to talk to me, and then she would pass it on to her "all star" son on the ride home in their Ford Expedition that had one of those litte American Flags hanging off the antenna.

Actually, I enjoy playing football for fun. But I cant stand people who take it so seriously.

And if I worried about getting sweaty I wouldnt play DDR/ mastrubate so much. And I havent had nails to worry about so...whatever.

i think the reason you don tlike football is because its popular and in the mainsrteam...you just feel te need to be different and in the minority...you dislike america and you dislike footballl, but not because you actually dislike them but rather because you dislike the people that like them...

Actually, I'm sure that he dislikes football because there is nothing particularly exciting about watching big sweaty men run into each other in an attempt to run a ball down a field.

my rebuttal would be that watching football isn't interesting and many people do not watch it because they aren't dependant on it for entertainment.

you offer no validation of your claim that "social outcasts" dislike it for the mere fact that socially adept people like it. that's an interesting opinion, but since I don't like watching most sports and it's not for your reasons, I just disproved what you said.

we were talking about the superbowl...its not just the game that is entertaining its the commercials, the halftime show, and most of all the people youre watching the game with...one of the biggest reasons you watch the superbowl is to go to school/work the next day and discuss with everyone that you watched it and you saw this commercial and you saw janet jackosons tit...

Amyways, yeah. I don't really like watching sports, unless it's track and field sometimes *i'm ubsessed with track, hehe.* because I'd much rather be out there DOING those sports rather than sitting infront of a TV watching it.
