Wow you guys get pretty into it. Lol. I think I would prefer telekinesis over flying for the following reasons:

1. I get to move things with my mind. ZOMG
2. Flying is dangerous. Dick Chaney would prolly shoot me claiming I was a fowl of some sort.
3. You can easily fight someone [and win] using telekinesis over just flying away.
4. Practical jokes are endless with telekinesis as oppose to flying.

You could use anything from planets to flakes of your own skin.

Well, that depends on what degree of telekinesis we're talking about. If it's the unlimited ability to move matter, then you're right, but if it's a more "realistic" case, where the ability to move depends on the size and mass of the object, then you couldn't move planets, and not every object could handle your weight.

I vote for flying. Telekinesis might be cool, but here is why I don't choose it.

First of all, you have this problem if you are a student, it would be kind of hard to do your homework. It would take away the feeling of actually doing it. Also, playing FFR and doing stuff on the computer, sure you never get writer's cramp or carpal tunnel, but there is no more fun in typing or playing anymore. You know?

So, I say that flying would be better.

You can still do everyday things, there is a choice to use it or not.

So you can still play regular FFR/type.

Telekinesis by far. You could just get on an object, and manipulate it to fly, so you could basically fly with telekinesis, anyway, plus then you could do lots more neat stuff.

How powerful would this telekinesis be? If it were completely infinite, then you could quite easily end the entire universe's existence by causing a great collapse.

A fowl is a bird of any kind, although some types of birds use the word specifically in their names (for example, Guineafowl and Peafowl).

If we want to use X-men as a reference, then yes, telekinesis would be better because it's so much easier to practice flying with it. However, using Heroes as a reference, it might not be so easy to fly. Sylar has had his powers of telekinesis the longest and no doubt he's mastered it, but so far, he has shown enough ability to levitate, much less fly.

Using the X-men reference, I would go telekinesis. Using the Heroes reference, I would go with flying because that's the reason I'd want either one of these powers in the first place.

If I wanted a power of my choice, it would be either flying or teleporting.

My theory is that Sylar can levitate. Based on his ability to sneak up on a super-sensitive hearing woman saying "That's because there weren't any [footsteps]."

I know he can levitate, that's why I said he could. But he's shown only enough ability to levitate and that's it. He hasn't shown that he can fly. Cept you know, the future where he stole the flying ability.
