I made a stepmania ARCADE STYLE MACHINE

I finally finished my stepmania cabenit (not entirely sure i spelled that right) if you pm me within 5 days then i will tell you how to make one. it has METAL mats (x2) and a computer that has them connected with Speakers (x2). FOR REAL. but remember pm me in 5 days and ill tell you in detail how i made one.

i will answer in order first it was my little secret so i like to make it rare information. 2 itg was custom made so i came up with the idea so stepmania wouldnt have the information. 3 maybe.

ill try after i find the camera.

but i will tell you how to make it.

-first you need to find a really sturdy stand like a table (a stand that will be the base like the boxish thing on the bottom of it) and paint it black that is the first step .

-get to high quality speakers about the same size as the machines but with usb. i have my sourses. my little secret 4 you to find out. (no mine dont have the neon lights around it YET but to give it that arcadish feeling i got one just like the arcade speakers with the metal speaker cover)
place them right next to the base but note that you cant connect them yet

-get a regular computer one with 4 usb ports bulky NOT A LAPTOP!!! and put stepmania on it and all the songs you want to have on it and set it on top of the base. now angle the screen up and attach the speakers.( 2 usb's there)

-now buy 2 metal mats i got mine form GAMEAZULUM.com (just google it)and make sure to get a usb one or if you cant get a converter to. when you get it connect them to the computer. last 2 usb's there.

-now you need to use what ever you have and make the sides and the top and the front( i made them out of wood because i took arts and crafts just for this occasion yes i learned on my own how to shape wood ) and make the sides ( one should have a little hole so two cables can go through and one in the front so you can turn it on. and the cover now paint them black and stick on any last moment details you want. i painted it red and put on the stepmania logo. and put it together MAKING SURE NOT TO DISCONNECT THE CABLES BECAUSE NOW IT IS A POINT OF NO RETURN and also remember to angle the computer in the right position.

-now it should look kind of like an arcade machine and should have a mouse and a key board on top of the left speaker and a hole on the front to turn it on and off. now then. you use the mats and the keyboard to control the song wheel and difficultys and thats it

NOTE: i already had the equipment that was needed ready and started when i had it all ready. its working right now and i will soon begin to modify it. also i didnt have much time to make this post so for more in depth info pm me and ill get to it soon.
