See, what I don't get is most people talk about how they watched Dragonball Z while they were younger, but it's clearly (unless you count the episodes on CN) an anime for more mature people.

Just think about the sexual references in the earlier dragonball episodes, and how it gets more violent during certain DBZ sagas. Come on, man.

I loved the dragonball series, 491 episodes in all, and they're great. I don't see why all anime-haters can't make the jump between ****ty 10 year old cartoons, and actual anime.

i love gantz too. but seriously most of the stuff on cartoon network is crap. eureka 7 was on cartoon network and it is pretty good... other than that its pretty much blah.

Everything on CN was crap. This is usually where anime gets a bad name. They even managed to ruin dragonball for me. I have to download episodes off the internet so I don't have to watch the ****ty censored versions.

Such a well-thought out and composed argument. In fact, it's so flawless, I can't even think of the right words to reply!

Oh! It's a good thing I already said something to the last idiot who decided to tell a bunch of random people what he doesn't like, so I don't need to think of the same words again!

My opinion is that you cannot just "not like" anime. That's impossible. It's an entire genre that spans an entire collection of what interests people. There's no way you can hate every single anime ever made. It's just not possible.

However, Squeek, I'm gonna have to correct you. Anime is not a genre. Anime is a medium. Hence why it's very silly to dislike the entirety of it.

So far you've managed to turn "I hate all anime" into "I hate just the four shows I've seen so far!"
