Can someone help me out here?

Alright, here's the issue. Some guy from my high school is hacking Hotmail accounts of his former classmates (myself included). I don't know how he's doing it, but within a few hours of managing to get a hold of Microsoft and resetting my password, he stole my account again. Apparently this guy is obsessed with Naruto and he's calling this the Battle of the Lions or something. Oh, and he also 'jutsu cursed' a friend of mine, whatever that means.

Does anyone know how he's hacking the accounts? Is there some serious security flaw with Hotmail that makes it easy for intruders? Better yet, does anyone know how I can make sure he can't do it again?

He can't hack hotmail ... he hacks your computer, he must have installed some trojans at your pc, so no matter how secure your password is he will be able to get it. So my advice is to get rid of all those virus =/ ...

What does that comprise? The new one I set myself (that just got hacked) had lower case letters, upper case letters, numbers, and other characters in it.

You know you should tell him to like stop invading privacy and ask if his parents know that he is hacking. then call his parents and tell if they don't know

Yeah that's what I was thinking, but why has he only taken my Hotmail accounts, when I've been using other e-mail addresses as well?

I actually found his phone number, and am willing to use this as a last resort, if need be. But let's be honest, what can his parents really do? By the sounds of it, he's in his own little Naruto world and I'm one of his enemies (might I add that most of the people he's hacked have never even talked to him).

Clean your harddrive with an anti-virus program, get a better firewall, and dont click ads

Get a free spyware scanner and see if any trojans are on your computer. There are ways of accessing accounts and hacking things without trojans, though.

If it's that big a deal, I suggest you just get another email.

Worst case scenario, reformat your hard drive, reinstall Windows, then change your password to something secure. This will get rid of anything he put on your computer, but if he's as Narutarded as you say he is, I'd be surprised if he'd be able to do too much in the way of hacking...

Vista is the worst operating system in existence. Windows 95 is better then that thing. Did you know that Vista was hacked and fully translated into Chinese within 5 DAYS of the BETA release?

I suspect that he wouldn't want to be your friend, as you really don't seem to know what you are talking about either.

The BETA build was unstable, and was just that- a BETA build. The actual finished version of this OS has performed superior to many other operating systems so far. There are a many charts and statistics to support this.

That said, I think that on the whole Vista is a ****ty operating system with built-in PC police.

And Relambrien, that's a ridiculous waste of time to format the entire hard drive and re-install Windows. There's no need.
