The part of it that deals with musicians and bands is very good. The rest of it is basically terrible. As for networking, Facebook is much better.

And of course it shouldn't be shut down. That's a completely idiotic idea.

in my opinion it should have a limit, not shutdown but close to shutdown, because a vast majority of people do stay on myspace all day long and some people even stay days on end waiting for comments and other crp like that, just alot of the self proclaimed "cool" freshmen in my school that cut class just to go on myspace "/

2. Agree to meet someone

Either way, it's really the persons fault. Myspace would be much safer if there weren't idiots on it.

It's peoples own fault if they post information that can idenify them, ie age/sex/location. Then theres actually meeting up with a person you met on-line...thats a whole nother level of stupidity..I know i only have people on my myspace that I know, or is a friend of a friend...i dont go adding random people.
but no i dont think myspace should be shutdown.
They make a good honest attempt to warn people about that kind of thing...but people just dont listen.
