That's right you heard me correctly. I'm typing this text with my voice right now. I bought a really cool speech recognition software program. It is working really nice right now. Right now I'm talking at the same speed that I always talk and it is correctly assuming every single word I say. And possibly one of the best things about it is that it knows how to type supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

i used speech recognition in a class last year, it's really fun. usually you can just say "period" or "comma" and it recognizes it.

there are two different ways that it can recognize that. One way is to have it automatically choose where to do that, and the other is to say the actual name of the mark.

Edit:: actually it works pretty flawlessly. Most of the problems originate from my speaking problems. After all, I grew up in Kentucky.

I got it at BestBuy in the clearance isle.it was an outdated version of Dragon speech recognition software, but it allowed a free update and upgrade on the site.

dragon was the one i used. seemed alright on the terribly slow school computers, i'm sure it would be better on a computer worth using.
