Dose anyone play Stepmania on a pad?

Well, a USB adapter would probably be the best way to go. USB dance pads aren't too easy to find.

I tried this last night with my Konami pad, actually. Since it plugs into the USB port of the 360, I figured it would work on my desktop, too. Unfortunately, once I got the thing up and running, it messed with my sound. I'm still trying to figure it out.

The only USB pad I've used is the RedOctain 3.0, it works great and plays on PS2/Xbox.

I have an old red octane ignition 2.0 which is half-dying so it's no fun to play on anymore.

PS2 ports, but I bought a USB adapter with it.

It's half the reason Stepmania was made. I have some X-Box -> USB adapter. As long as a pad has an XBox cable and the detachable part (apparently Pelican pads don't), I can hook it up to my computer.

I have a X-Box to USB Adapter. My dad got the cord for me off of eBay. Works quite well. I use this certain kind of chair as a bar.I can get a B on Quasar :S.

EDIT: Forgot to say it. I've only had this cord for 5 days? And my pad (inch thick ones) seems like its dying but most chances, it isn't.

I never play on a pad because it would just be too weird of a feeling.

For beginner you should get Red octane or Ignition ones.

I once tried playing SM on pad but the weird thing happened. When I pressed on the left arrow, it's the right one that sensed it and vice versa.
