are u guys clueless?its called watching a movie in the car if u dont have a portable dvd player or something.of course we would all pick a big screen tv over a little small ipod but wen your on the road and its all you have with you,then its ALL GOOD

I got vid ipod and it's pretty decent. Portable player is NOT so portable compared to ipod and believe it or no I can watch 6 hours straight of video on mine. Timed it. I like having my entire 40 gig music library whenever and a few seasons of stuff I'd like to catch up on. Though if you don't travel around, its not really needed.

Btw there is no way to get stuff I want to play on portable player, not too mention go through trouble of burning dvds, even if player supports such things.

The games are actually surprisingly playable. I use my ipod for music and videos. The games and other things are just nifty things to have.

the games are pretty fun, DOOM is pretty hard though.
