    5+5+5=550.. no im serious it is. look

    Yes this is a pretty old trick but there wasnt any posting going on so i got bored. okay, you have to make 5+5+5=550 be a true statement. you can: draw a horizontle, diagonal, or vertial line any where in the problem but NOT on the equal sign. =) have fun. if someone gets the answer ill tell you if it's right or not.

      There are an infinate number of solutions to your problem. For instance, change it into 111+111+111+111+1+100-10+5+5+5=550, but the simplest solution would probably be to make it 15+15+15=-5+50 which is adding 6 lines.

                  i know but i read some other threads and i wasnt sure if it should go there or not because i didnt really feel like getting flammed sooo i just didnt put it there.

                      Add a / on to the second +, making it a 4. It's hard to put it on the computer, but you understand. 5 + 545 = 550. =) I win.

                          yes Takisho is teh winnar. =P you can put the / on any of the plus' to make it 545+5=550.

                                      lol if you add a diagonal line to the + then it makes the plus a 4 put the / on the top left of the + but the diagonal line smaller so it makes ita 4. and that makes 545+5=550. the first plus is gone since you added the line to it.
