They have nothing to do with helping your computer run.
I can't really read them with the size of th image, but it looks like some program you have is caching information on your C drive. Whether it is with malicious intent or not, I can not tell.Comment

I've had so many experiences when Norton recognizes something, can't delete it, and whines about it for hours.
So I just used some MoveOnBoot utilities along with procexp, and that did the trick for FREE.
Norton sucks..
