Because you said the questions were college students. I suppose you left out the word "for", making the questions for college students.

And what I mean is that halves of people don't exist. Take some Mathematics courses.

I'm good at math, but I never knew how to solve those questions, thanks anyway.

These questions are logical riddles and usually have very little to do with mathematics.

The concept of halves is what I am referring to when I speak of there being no halves to people or fish.

For example, if you calculate that you'll need 530.8 samples to get a 90% confidence interval for a given population parameter, you just round it up to 531 because you can't ask .8 people a question.
