Oh no - not another stupid global warming debate. Whether or not you believe the earth is heating up from humans is irrelevant, but either way we are having a bigger impact on the environment and we need to find an alternative energy source.

So, what, does that energy just magically disappear? The real emissions that (theoretically) affect the environment occur at the power plant, the source of energy. How much you yourself are using is irrelevant; the power plant is still producing the same amount of power, and the same emissions. You could turn everything off in your house and it would have no impact.

        Fact:

If you put a plastic bag over a polar bear's head, it will freak out, run around for a while, then die.

Yes, the power plant puts out the same amount of energy, unless it's done on a much more massive scale where they would have to start shutting down units, but with so many more people who are now conscious about global warming, it's actually likely that it could happen.

This was in no ways intended to be a debate. In fact, I fail to see how this is a debate even now.

Ok, I'd like to clear one thing up:

Just because some area's get colder weather for the time period DOES NOT mean that global warming isn't real.

I have no clue if we cause global warming or not, so I will enjoy using my 600 watt sucking computer.

                  Statistically, this is true.

75% of horses, when bags were placed over their heads, freaked out, ran around for a little, then died.

The other 25%, after their eyes were closed, laid down and decomposed immediatley.
