Dissing people for liking Naruto - Isn't that racist?

I like Naruto myself. Now, before you go along and give my avvy a 0/10 or a NARUTO/10 or something like that, consider the fact that this is quite racist. People want to learn some sort of language that most people don't like. Then he's called names just because he likes the language and is interested in it. It's just about the same as remarks to someone for being black, gay, or liking buddism. Okay, you've listened to me. If you aren't moved or anything, you can still diss me for liking the Naruto series. It's pointless. All it does is make a lower person feel lower.

Edit: I've also set up a poll about how often you've been discriminate for whatever. I voted in "commonly" Please cast a vote!

People diss people who like Naruto because the series itself lacks any real substance except for the occasional outstanding episode and falls into the same category as DBZ, Sailor Moon, Inuyasha, Fruits Basket, etc. So when someone disses you for liking Naruto, it's because they are dissing your interest in such a crappy anime. Nothing more, nothing less.

      It is discrimination, certainly.

      "Naruto-lover" is not a race.

Most Naruto fans on this site present themselves as morons. We discriminate against morons.

Discrimination is never right. What's something that you are that nobody likes, and make fun of you of it? I had to go through it all through my childhood, 24/7.

My most desired wish, I wish racism and discrimination was no more.

Trust me, if you are only discriminated against for your love of some cartoon, you will live.

          Stop acting like you're oppressed.

That's a big stereotype. You think I pose myself as a moron? No. I think not.

If you're refering to me, you might as well go and diss me for liking Naruto, right here, right now. I've already been discriminated tons before, it's just going to bounce off me.

If you're honestly offended by what people on the internet think of your anime tastes then you have a lot of growing up and maturing to do. Most people really don't "Discriminate" as you would say, but the constant mentioning of Naruto all over the boards gets annoying, so we shoved them into their own little thread. Yes, most veterans of the anime world (Over a decade for me) hate naruto, because compared to a bunch of other animes it is disgusting. But, if you like it, go for it, but don't bitch when people make fun of you for it. Be yourself and shutup.

              EDIT:

You think I pose myself as a moron? No. I think not.
That was said in the stupidest way you could have said it. I try and use proper grammar and a wide vocabulary, but I don't talk like an aristocrat. It just sounds like you're TRYING to sound smart.

I wasn't trying to sound smart.

Edit: I set up a poll. I already cast my vote to "Commonly." Please take you vote.

OK that just justified Stretchy's post. She said MOST Naruto fans present themselves as morons meaning that it is not a generalized statement. I watch Naruto from time to time and I'm by no means a moron. However, by saying that you yourself wasn't a moron means you were trying to defend yourself from the exact group you said you weren't in to begin with! Redundency at its finest.

Also, discriminating against morons isn't a crime of racism. We just don't like people who ruin the fourm experience by acting like jackasses.

                    =P

Re: Dissing people for liking Naruto - Isn't that racist?

Discrimination is an archaic function of evolution, deal with it. How you put up under it shows your integrity and the strength of your character. If you are weak you will cave in and conform, and if you will strong you will continue to enjoy whatever form of media that you do.

I can say that many of the Naruto fans I have met present themselves as moronic, so by choosing to be outward with your enjoyment of that program, you are subjecting yourself to a label of stupidity.

                              See, here's your problem, Pizza_Pi.

You are taking things said on a message board a) way too seriously and b) way too personally. Did I call you a moron? No. Did I explain why people tend not to like Naruto fans. Absolutely. Did you jump to the conclusion that I was referring to you and only you? Yeah, you sure did.

PS: Chromer shut up I love Sailor Moon and always will it's in****ingcredible.
