I just don't understand how somebody could do something like this.

I wish we had known more about the gunman; who he was, if he was on campus, etc. I'm horrified. I mean, this is the kind of thing you don't expect to ever happen, and when it does, it's a huge slap in the face.

I hope that everyone we might have connections to is OK. Let us know, Fish.

Wow, that's horrible.. I'm pretty sure a bunch of like my friends here have older siblings that go to VT.. that's insane. How could that happen here?

wewll form what i read about, supposedly they caught one gunman, one gunman was dead, and another was on the loose, butit was all probally just thrown together. It's kind of tragic though.

I'm just flabbergasted. I mean, I can sort of understand the things that drive high school students to this kind of violence, but I still have a rather idealistic view of college that the students there are on a higher level than all that bull****. I mean, I know that people still have emotional issues no matter who they are or what their situation, but this is just astounding.

people will always have emotional issues to deal with. it's just up to them on how they andle themselves. they have to learn to control it. obviously here is an example of someone who couldn't control thesee feelings.

So, I didn't go to college, but a bunch of my friends did. The only problem is, I don't know what colleges they're at, but I know a bunch are at Tech.

My teacher gave a 20-minute lecture on what to do if it happened at our school. That's too bad about VT, though, considering the body count. Some smart-ass said there aren't enough decent pick-off points at our college to have that happen.

i just called my friend mary m. that goes there and her mom answered. she said she hasnt heard from mary yet. everyone is freaking out down there.
