      Oh dear. He's one of my best friend's favorite writers. I'd tell her, but she's in France. She'll be so upset. :<

              Oh, crap. I really liked him too, thanks to my dad. He's an English major and writer, and Vonnegut was his favorite.

              That really sucks, but at least he lived to 84. That's a pretty ripe age.

                                  I picked up the first book I was going to read by him exactly a week before he died. I'm really liking it too. Very smart and funny guy. What a shame. :/

                                      I'm suprised, I've heard the name many times, but I can't think of one book of his that I've read. I should probably get on that.
