There's a difference. Most kids could give a flying fsck about a tetanus shot. A shot for their bodies that supposed to protect them from an STI is more interesting.

It's very easy to disreguard arguments by making the oposing side sound irrational using text speak and caps lock and such.

Number 1 sounds good to me, need to know basis and simple. You can explain STI's and such at a later more appropriate time

Number 2 isn't very realistic as your overrationalizing it plus seeing as america complains about how sex education isn't teaching their children because they certianly don't want to do it and telling a little girl woman are better then men would turn her into a bitch anyway or a lesbian.

Either way telling a teenager shes protected from STI's would proberly bring out a awesome im invincible factor better go tell ma friends im getting a man reaction.

You over estimate kids these days and they are just going to get worse.

Chromer, do you think that kids don't already learn and experiment with sex with the way TV is these days? Even without TV, kids have sex, they just do. Even after this vaccine is made manditory, and people find a slight correlation with people experimenting younger, don't you think the protection is worth it?

Also:

She pretty much summed up all my opinions against this whole thing.

I didn't even know about the release of liability thing. So they can require these girls to get vaccinated, and are NOT RESPONSIBLE if it destroys their reproductive organs or causes birth defects or whatever. Not good.

I know that obviously. I learned about sex when I was seven years old. What I'm trying to say is that if the vaccine is made mandatory everywhere else, it's just another thing younger girls who are curious about sex don't have to worry about.

And girls entering the sixth grade are required to take the vaccine. Most girls that age are already influenced enough making Jewpin's whole post not even realistic.

Also, another reason not to spend 12 billion dollars vaccinating every friggin woman 9-26 in the country, is that because the tests were so limited, not a single woman in the tests developed cervical cancer in either the placebo OR the gardasil group. They made their claims about it preventing cervical cancer based on the fact that it reduced the cases of genital warts, which isn't what they're trying to cure, now is it? In short, its an EXTREMELY expensive cash cow that has absolutely no proven effect on cervical cancer and has not been tested enough to see any long term side effects.
