No, atheism is the lack of assertion in the belief of god. Agnostics falls into this category too. They don't pick a side for whether they believe in god, so it falls under atheism.
Jesus. The guy who died to forgive peoples sins so that they can go to heaven, instead of hell. Thats pretty much christanity a relationship with Jesus.
And you're saying that's not a religion?

It's not believing in a God. You deny the existance of a God.
Wait, what? I don't understand. Are you saying that I deny the existence of a god?

i know, but they started it, they would not accept me for what i was
they were all christian or catholic, and they were hating me not believing in christ, because thats all they ever talked about...got kinda boring
Oh. Well, no, there's "weak" atheism and "strong" atheism. Weak atheism is lack of a belief in a god and strong atheism is a negative belief.
In science, the supernatural is not ruled out entirely--you could say science is agnostic towards the supernatural. There's no evidence for it and it's not used out of necessity.
In the same sense, you can be both agnostic and weak atheist. I am. I don't believe in a god because...why should I? No positive evidence=no belief. But given the very "nature" of the supernatural, I can't rule it out entirely, scientifically.
