oh my god stupid retarded school band, we have to go to this stupid competition in indianapolis, we ride down there stay the night, play the next day, and then ride back, and i have so much school work i have to catch up on also, F@CKING BAND!

If you are sufficiently uncommitted to band that you moan and groan over lack of internet for 2 days, why are you in it in the first place?I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. That's nothing, I'm missing 5 days in April because my Band/Orchestra's going to compete in Orlando, Florida. Not only that, I'm missing school because our Theatre Company's hosting (and performing!!) in Boston in two weeks.
Be thankful you're only missing two days, and enjoy the trip =^.^=

Consider yourself lucky. At my high school, band trips were the only trips period our class EVER took. It allowed me to visit Chicago twice, England, France, Belgium and the Netherlands - and that was only in two years of band. Some of the best times I had in high school were as part of band trips.

wouldnt really mind the trip so much but i play baritone saxophone cause i voluntered to switch from alto to baritone, on the bari sax all i pretty much play are whole, half, and quarter notes, on my alto i got to play alot of eighth notes and sixteenths, so its pretty boring for me. We have been working on these peices for months and i had them down within like the first few days lol. o well, at least they have an arcade there with ddr XD

If you play baritone saxophone, try to get the band to play some jazz.
