Thoughts on suicide

you know what.. your right i have never been severly depressed.. highest depression rate for me was when my cat died.. or maybe when my great gandma died... thats the peak of it for me.. but you know what??.. it doesn't matter.. suicide IS stupid.. and suicide IS the dumbest thing you can do..

I will now analyze it from different perspectives..

Religion (christianity).. you going to hell if you commit suicide.. so whats the big drive there.. you suffer in life.. you suffer more in hell... your not raising the bar any..

Tired of the Pain: oh well.. kill yourself.. get rid of the pain.. end your life at an early age.. or wait... take the pain, wait for the cure/something to stop the pain, and have happy memorys for your life... knowing that you "conquered" something is a GREAT fealing..

No one likes you: Who gives a shit.. your meaning of life is not to make other people like you its to reproduce.. thats it.. we are here as the surviving members of the human race.. we are NOT here to impress anyone.. you couldnt be the dirtiest, ugly, fat, and anyother type of thing people don't like and have more purpose on this earth if you had a kid than if you were rich, handsome/cute, popular and couldn't have kids.. you life is poitnless without being able to have kids... but you know what you shouldn't do??.. commit suicide.. contribute something else to life.. or don't contribute something, just have fun.. either way its better than death..

Yeah, well according to the Bible, if you're not Christian you go to Hell also, so forgive me if I don't take it to literally.

Its true. The Bible states that not believing in Jesus is a sin, and only Jesus can forgive your sins, so if you're any religion that doesn't believe in Christ you're basically going to Hell. Now, I didn't need the bible to tell me that I'm going to Hell, but I don't believe in any of this anyway so the point for me is moot.

Anti, you can flame me all you want to be honest, I couldn't care less. You still continue to say these people "probably" haven't, or haven't experienced whatever feeling of depression. You're assuming things left and right, for all you know everyone who posted here could've been on the brink of suicide and are listing their fucking reasons why they're still alive, god. stupid - exercise thinking.

Yes, but you seem to not know how to read, because I've explained my fucking reasons MANY FUCKING TIMES. I don't know what your deal is with this issue, but its beginning to piss me off. Now I really don't want to get into a flame war with you. I've explained that the reason I believe most of these people have never experienced severe depression is because if they had, they probably wouldn't be responding the way they are.

Now do me a favor. LAY THE HELL OFF. Did your friend commit suicide or something, and you're touchy about it?

I'm the touchy one? It just makes me sick to see people making themselves look foolish by assuming x or y, so sorry. Because people don't respond the way you expect, it says they haven't gone through depression, sure.
