Ok dudes/dudets ... I have a project due tomorow (Spanish project) and I need to know how to write "chores" in spanish (Como se escribe "chores" in Espanol?) all the free translator sites are giving me "tareas" but I know that means work or jobs (stupid translators) and my spanish teacher told me to find out the actual word ... can anyone help?

trabajo and tareas are completely different.

I don't even know of a conjugation in spanish that removes a consonant in the second letter of the word.

assuming you are talking about chores as in house work (ask a stupid question) an online dictionary said it was
los quehaceres domésticos. I sure hope this helps.

thanks I'm pretty sure that was the word ... if not ... what the hell I'll use it anyway ^_- thanks man.

P.S. Feel free to approve the word quehaceres cause I'm not sure if that's it and acknerr isn't sure either.

Glad we could help. I was basically positive that quehaceres was correct, but I didn't want to say that I was positive and it turned out to be incorrect, but it obviously was correct, so there you go. Anyway, you're welcome.^_^
