I know how you feel, my parents refused to allow me to have any piercings (including ears) until i was 18. Now i am 21 and have 2 in my right ear, 3 in the left, tongue bar and belly button bar. They know that i am old enough to decide for myself so don't really say anything about them.

Why don't you sit your parents down and explane to them why you got it.
You could also say that you know you won't be able to have any piercings on your face when you are old and have a real job, so you want to have one now, while you are still young and it won't affect your professional life (this should convince them that you are mature and have thought about the effects of having a piercing).
You could also reach a compromise by saying you will wear a clear piercing when you are in the house if it really offends their eyes that much(you can normally buy them from most piercing shops).

If they won't sit down and listen to you, try writing it all in a letter and then ask them to talk to you about it at the end of the letter.

There's nothing attractive about a tongue or eyebrow piercing, and no good reason for it. Unless I was dropped on my head as a child or something and don't know what the hell I'm talking about.

By the looks of the information given, it says you are 18. You're old enough to make your own decisions and your parents should respect that. It also shouldn't matter what you do with your life and especially what you do with YOUR body because at the end, the only person you need to satisfy is yourself.

Me, being huge on body modifications, don't see how it is ANYONES business with what you do with your own body. Also, you have the 'choice' to respect your parents' wishes or not because some of the things they do wish from us, are just not what we want to do in our lives.

I just got home from my road trip. Not only did my mother not say goodbye to me or call me the entire weekend, she also didn't even bother saying hellow when I walked through the door after almost an eight hour drive. I am not going to amuse her. I already tried to maturely explain the situation to her long ago, and she wouldn't listen. She is being more childish than I am. If she doesn't want to speak, look, or even associate with me in any way then so be it. That is her decision. I made mine.
