As for college and university... I'm pretty sure there isn't really a clear difference here in America anymore. I think they still care up in Canada, but here, they're basically the same thing (although you might notice colleges seem to be smaller than universities). I still call it all "college" even though my school is technically a university.
Thanks, and also thank you Jurs.

Yeah, I know it's competitive. Have you ever heard of the Center for the Arts program? I'm pretty sure it's in a couple of counties here in Virginia, but.. I'm in the CFA program in Henrico County.. It's awesome. We get lots of opportunities, and I know most of the seniors, if not, all of them, in this program, get scholarships, etc.

My dad is always pushing me to be like my cousins Jose Louis and Angelica who both got scholarships that paid for EVERYTHING. I know my older cousin Jose Louis is graduating college this year, he has had to pay virtually nothing for college, possibly a couple hundred of dollars, and my other cousin Angelica has to pay nothing at all, and this is her first year in college.

I really, really look up to them. xD
They both attend the University of Texas.. which is in state for them.
So yeah.. I'm like working my ass off to get good grades..
I've been told that lots of kids slack off in freshman year, and it messes them up bad. =/

A bunch of my friends applied and got in there. None of them have decided where they're going, though. I just think the male/female ratio is ridiculous (well, not for an engineering school, I guess).

Haha, yeah the ratio is pretty bad. But Clark U is right down the street, and its ratio is opposite ours. Counters out the M:F factor.
