You wouldn't actually know about most of the categories, though. I mean, this is pretty much just a forum event.

I'm on the committee. I've decided to abstain from voting for many reasons, a few of them being:

      - I don't know too many people all that well yet.
      - It just seems wierd, IMHO, to vote when i'm tallying.
      - I pride myself as being largely unbiased.

Now, I'm pretty sure you're not making some sort of stereotyped 'all noobs are dense' blanket statement, but I just wanted to make it clear that number of posts is not in any way a direct correlation to intelligence. Just like age does not equal maturity.

      Are we green?

While post count does not correlate to one's intelligence, it correlates to the amount of time and activity you devote to the forums. Being nominated for an award means that someone worthy on this forum has classified you for the position you are nominated for. I refuse to allow someone whom has not paid his/her due by becoming an active member of this forum to foul it up just because they feel it is in their rights to do so. The reason I made that statement is to clarify that post count might not = intelligence (which I wasn't even going for at all btw) but post count = active role in this community by making threads and posting messages. Whether or not you believe I'm being biased the fact remains that those with low post counts are generally more ignored than those with higher ones.

      NOW, are we green?

Man, if you win more than one category you win more than one category.

Hell, it'll make it easier for the results thread as I can praise you up with a lot of awards or whatever.

So if you win best sig/worst sig, you get both. Ironic, but I'm not going to get everyone to then tally up who got second most, too much work. Accept your damn praise =[

Gosh, bud, I love the way you talk down to people. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside that there can be someone on this site more wrong than I am.

Mal if I wanted to talk down to her, I could've been very jackass like to her. I was not. I was explaining how I feel about the situation and what I meant. I'd expect someone to argue with me about my viewpoint but I digress. Now I think I picked right about Least Funny Poster. Fojar might bash me for every Lit thread I make, but at least he isn't as serious as you are. O_o
