    Re: Portable Players.

Not to backtrack your decision, but with a good warranty, I find iPods a way better choice. They have way better software and mp4 downloads are a lot easier than you think (especially with Google video). Their problems lie in the fact that their batteries blow and they scratch extremely easy - me, I can replace my iPod whenever I need a new one for a decent reason for one of equal value for three years, which is much more than my money's worth.

If you cannot find a place with a good warranty (I got mine at Future Shop, which is the same company as Best Buy that you guys have (I think?)), then I'd go with a Zen, but besides that, I find iPods way better.

As for which Zen model... I don't know, I know just as much as you do because I did all the research than decided against them. XD

Zen Vision: M because playing 4:3 videos on a widescreen (or vice versa, but usually videos are in 4:3 format) sucks.

But I'd seriously get the iPod.

why? I looked at them and they didn't seem very appealing.
The zune to zune music sharing only works for three days, and the zune-using population is next to nonexistant. The software used to upload media into the zune is just a Zune-skinned WMP that we need to install. Also, I can only play .wmv format videos on it.

Why don't you just get a Sony PSP?

PSP doesn't hold as much songs/videos and is mainly for games.

Why don't you read the first post?

It can be used for music, too.

The PSP doesnt have as much hard drive space as the other players that are mentioned... I'm saying it's better for gaming instead of having 60gb of media.

I only want an mp3/video player, not a portable console. I know the PSP can play music and videos, but it's still a portable console.

You could also look into getting a Treo, and then you'd have your mp3s, phone, and snes games all in one!
